Trade Fair by Nepalgunj Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Year 2014
Why not so successful this year

After completion of six days of Trade Fair, including 4 days gazetted holiday, local holiday and weekly holiday, the trade fair could earn below the estimated amount, a sum of Rs. 93 lakh 79 thousand only, much below than what could be normally expected. The figure was collected by famous local daily Kalprishtha National Daily by Fair Management committee.

The management committee of Trade fair expected a collection of 10 crore rupees in 12 scheduled days of Trade fair. But when in six days, which also covered 4 days holidays, the collection could barely reach about 93 lakh, the target of 10 crores seems beyond imagination.

According to the data by committee, first day collection was 4 lakh, second day 10 lakh, third day 12 lakh, fourth day 25 lakh (app.), fifth day 15 lakh and sixth day collection was 8 lakh 50 thousand only.

The fair committee included JABAN (Jadi Buti Association), the herbal products association and CAN also and were expecting it a big sucess. But unfortunately fair was slashed down against expectation.

Stalls are deserted. Only Nepal Telecom stall is worth to visit as it is distribbuting GSM SIMM FREE (Rs. 100 SIMM cost with Rs. 100 talk time included). Second stall worth to visit is COSMOS ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS dealing in world class earthing system from Austria and other by an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.
