Ms. Kajal Shrestha - The District Topper in Grade 11 in Nepalgunj
From Jay Bageshwari Higher Secondary School
"Need of strict rules for students, strong management of school/college, punishment to those stepping out of disciplinary border, moral guidance are the necessary elements to maintain discipline in students" recommends the District topper; cute - confident and pretty Kajol Shrestha in a talk with nepalgunj dot net.
Dear daughter of Mrs. Sanju Shrestha, a housewife and Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha - a banker, Kajol Shrestha looked and behaved very cool and calm during our interview. Her confident replies without a delay made us to realise why she repeated the District Topper milestone twice in her life. PReviously she bagged District Topper in Grade 10 (S.L.C.) national-level board examination securing 88.875% in girls while studying in Jay Bageshwori Higher Secondary School. Same was repeated by her in Grade XI when she stepped on this desired line again from the same Jay Bageshwari Higher Secondary school.
Happy with Her Disciplined School
"I was always happy with the disciplined and learning-focused atmosphere of my school Jay Bageshwari and so I continued my studeis from Grade 2 to till date", she says with a satisfied smile on her face. She added, "In my past 10 years in this school I always found teachers sincere towards students leading to a well-disciplined atmosphere in school." The experience of teachers at J.B. School hepled her much in her this academic journey till date, according to her.
Not Just a Book-worm
She does not believe in a fix hours daily schedule for study for a student. She used to study 1 hour to 3 hour in normal days and yes, not on a daily basis but as it suits to her. However, 2 to 3 weeks prior to exams, her this study time inflates to 6 hours per day continuous; she told us while answering the question - "How much study was enough for you to achieve this continued District Top position".
She believes a student must listen to the advise of teachers and implement it to possible maximum. She is against of 'compulsory coaching' trend popular in Nepalgunj and also in various parts of Nepal.
She is aiming to become Chartered Accountant. "Is it due to your father's job", smiling on the question she replies - "No, it was in my mind when I was in grade 5. I was aiming to become a C.A. since then". She is planning to go to New Delhi, India for her studies for C.A. after completing her 10+2 from Jay Bageshwari H S School.
A Varsatile Girl
Not just a book-worm or "Only Study" girl, she is also very active in dancing, singing and various stage performances. She has several prizes / awards on her shelves won by her in dancing performances, singing, speech etc. She has also participated in quiz competition.
